Work your tasks back to back instead of one by one. Open a task view and click Start [x] tasks: HubSpot opens each task on its record, one after the other. Group your tasks in queues and saved views first, so calls and emails come in separate runs. Then put Complete task and Next task on keys, so you stop looking for the buttons.
Key takeaways
Go to CRM, then Tasks, click Actions and choose Manage queues. Click Create task queue, give it a name, choose who can use it and click Save. Each user can create up to 20 queues. To move existing tasks, tick them, click Change queue and pick the queue. Queues are labels for grouping. They do not decide the order you work in.
On the tasks page, filter by Queue (or use Advanced filters) and click Save view. A view for calls and a view for emails keeps you in one kind of work at a time.
Open the view and click Start [x] tasks to work every task in it, or tick a few tasks and click Start [x] tasks at the top of the table. HubSpot opens the record of the first task. You can skip a task, which leaves it open. The X in the bar takes you out of the run. Working tasks back to back needs an assigned Sales Hub or Service Hub seat. In the sales workspace, the Start tasks button on the Summary tab does the same for all your assigned tasks.
In a run of 50 tasks you click Complete task and move to the next one 50 times. HubSpot has no shortcut for either, so Task Turbo adds one:
| Action | Without a shortcut | With Task Turbo |
|---|---|---|
| Complete task | Find and click the button | Your key, for example Alt+D |
| Next task | Find and click the button | Your key, for example Alt+N |
| Skip or previous task | Find and click the button | Your key |
| Set a sub-status | Open the dropdown and pick | Your key |
| Any other button | Find and click it | Record it once, then your key |
Setup takes a minute: click the rocket button on any HubSpot page, click Record, click the button and press your keys. See the full list of HubSpot keyboard shortcuts.

Yes. HubSpot says completing tasks back to back in a view needs an assigned Sales Hub or Service Hub seat.
Yes. In workflows (Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional and Enterprise) the Create task action has an Add to task queue option. In sequences, a task step has a Queue dropdown.
Up to 20 per user in each HubSpot account.
Not in HubSpot itself. Task Turbo lets you bind it to any key combo you choose.
I build Task Turbo, so read the comparisons with that in mind. Every user count, rating, date and feature on this page was checked in the Chrome Web Store and the HubSpot Knowledge Base on 22 October 2026.
